Nancy Ann (Metaxatos) Knowlton, 76. Of Peabody, died Monday January 30, 2023 at the Academy Manor Nursing Home in Andover following a brief illness. She was the devoted wife of Richard E Knowlton, Jr. with whom she shared over 35 years of marriage.

Born in Peabody, she was the daughter of the late Angelo and Lena (Stamation) Metaxatos. She was a lifelong resident of Peabody and a graduate of Danvers High School.

Nancy owned and operated alongside with her husband a residential cleaning service for many years before retiring.

Besides her loving husband, she is survived by her two sons, George and his wife Paula Knowlton of Salem, Troy and his wife Kristin Belanger of Durham, NH, her step-son, Richard E Knowlton, III of Pittsfield, her daughter, Valerie Magee of Groveland, her two brothers, Harry Metaxatos of NC and Nicholas Metaxatos of Saugus, her sister, Anna Karazuna of Tucson, Arizona and by her beloved 5 grandchildren, Ashley, Chloe and Andrew Magee, and Bryana and Ryan Belanger.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM followed by her Funeral Service at 11:00 AM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St, Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody.
