Obituary For Nancy F. Weinburgh
Nancy F. (Larrabee) Weinburgh, 88, passed away peacefully at home, Wednesday morning, August 9, 2023. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert C. Weinburgh, with whom she shared 63 years of marriage. Born in Peabody, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Florence Larrabee. She was a loving wife, devoted mother, proud grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Nancy worked for many years at Sylvania in Danvers, MA. She then worked as a CNA at Pilgrim House Nursing Home for 18 years before retiring. She took pride in caring for her family, friends, and patients.
Nancy enjoyed holidays and spending time with her family. Known as “G.G.,” she had fun with her grandchildren swimming, bowling, and playing games.
Nancy loved listening to music and dancing. She enjoyed playing cards and spending time with her best friend Betty Kokoras. She also had fun going out to lunch with her friends, Frankie Murphy, Alice Tracchia and Eileen Jackson.
Nancy is survived by two daughters, Carol L’Abbe and husband Patric L’Abbe, Donna Walsh and husband Tom Walsh; grandchildren, Dawnmarie (L’Abbe) St.Pierre and husband Larry St.Pierre, Julie (L’Abbe) Coraggio,Tricia L’Abbe, T.J. Walsh and wife Alicyn Walsh; great-grandchildren, Scott Bailey, Lilly Coraggio, Robert Coraggio, Braedyn Walsh and Zoey Walsh; siblings, Ruth Seymour and husband Lestor, Albert Larrabee and wife Sharon, Robert Larrabee and wife Pat, Kathy Actis and husband Tom, Debbie Mitchell and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Virginia LeBoeuf and brother-in-law Brian Mitchell.
Nancy will be remembered as women of kindness, generosity, and integrity. She touched the lives of many people. Her memory will forever be treasured by her family and friends.
Visiting hours will be held at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St. Peabody, MA on Monday, August 14, 2023 from 11AM to 1PM followed by a Funeral Service in the funeral home at 1PM. Interment will be at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Peabody, MA. Children had a special place in Nancy’s heart, as she was a generous donor to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and The Smile Train Foundation. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Nancy’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital by visiting www.stjude.org
