Obituary For Paul R. Bonsaint

Paul R. Bonsaint of Peabody suddenly and tragically passed away on August 17, 2021, surrounded by loving family. He is survived by his wife, Judite, of Peabody, two daughters Amie Bonsaint and Megan Bonsaint of Peabody and Haverhill, along with Amie’s significant other, Nicholas Cohan of Revere, and Megan’s fianceé, Jeremy Bell of Haverhill. A brother and sister, John Bonsaint and Marie MacPherson, both of Peabody, a mother, Ada Bonsaint, also of Peabody. Loving in-laws in which he enjoyed spending holidays with including Fatima Bettencourt, Fernando Bettencourt, Maria Silva, and Joey Bettencourt, all of Peabody. And many loving nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his best friend of 17 years, his dog, Oliver. As a lifelong Peabody resident, Paul owned and operated Bob Bonsaint & Sons, which was started by his late father, Robert. Through this business Paul made many friends, acquaintances, and lifelong relationships. He was best known for his friendly demeanor and kind nature. Aside from his business, he found great pride in the successes of his wife and daughters. He celebrated every accomplishment with them and was the best support system they could have asked for. He knew how to fix everything, and always let his family know if anything went wrong, he would take care of it. They will hold close their fond memories of family vacations, funny jokes, silly songs, and plenty of hugs and “I love yous”. His wife and daughters find comfort in knowing how apparent their love for one another is. Everyone who knew Paul loved him. He will be sorely and deeply missed by every life he touched. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 20, from 9-11A.M. at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, followed by a service in the funeral home at 11A.M. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Salem. Memorial contributions may be made in his name to Massachusetts General Hospital, Cardiology Department, 55 Fruit Street, Boston, MA 02114.

Aug 22, 2021 To the Bonsaint family circle, My deepest condolences. Both Paul & Bob are in God's hands .Whenever I go down Mt Vernon st . I briefly look left and say hello to Bob as his grave site is very close to the Mt Vernon st side of Harmony grove cemetery of Salem Mass . Like wise on my way home from Salem passing by St. Mary's cemetery , I will also say hello to Paul. Paul & Bob your father paid a price in their personal health, physically and mentally working on vehicles, because they where the best plus more. Hence , they where the only mechanics I trusted , especially when I was a self employed electrician back in the 1970s & 1980s I also don't forget the passing of the official road tester, "SAM" . BTW all pets go to heaven , great & small. Miss Paula Walach - Peabody Mass & Derry NH
