Obituary For Randy J. Giuffrida

Wells, ME – Randy James Giuffrida 38, formerly of Peabody and Revere, died unexpectedly on Monday, October 24, 2022 in Wells, ME.

Born in Malden, he is the son of Robert and Mary Lee (Squadrito) Giuffrida of Peabody. He graduated from Bishop Fenwick High School and earned a degree from Merrimack College in North Andover.

Randy owned and operated Honey Sticks Genetics in Wells, ME where he was well known in the business community and an accomplished grower in the state of Maine.

A resident of Wells, Maine for the past eight years, prior to that he had resided in Peabody for eighteen years and Revere for twelve years. Randy had a great love and passion for animals, especially cats. He had volunteered for fourteen years at the Marblehead Animal Shelter. He was a loving son, brother and friend who will be missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother, Rob Giuffrida and his wife, Tori of Groveland.

ARRANGEMENTS: A visiting hour will be held at the Conway Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, MA, Thursday, November 3, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. followed by a service in the funeral home at 12:00 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to the Marblehead Animal Shelter, 44 Village St., Marblehead, MA 01945. There are no words to express how sorry I am about Randy. He was by far one of the kindest souls. I met him many years ago, of course it involved rescuing a senior kitty. Randy was as real as they come. He loved his family, friends and all animals fiercely. There will always be a special place in my heart for Randy. Him and his giant heart will be missed immensely.
