Obituary For Richard Alan Jolitz
Richard A. Jolitz, 56, of Beverly, MA died on Monday, September 26, 2022, at the Lahey Medical Center in Burlington after a brief illness. He was born in Beech Grove, Indiana, the son of the late Paul Jolitz and Carolyn Sue (Kriech) (Jolitz) Gayhart. He was raised in Washington, IN until he moved to Florida, and then to Massachusetts where he made his home for 26 years ago.
Richard attending Washington High School in Washington, IN and received his Associates degree from North Shore Community College in Massachusetts. Richard had worked in the Health Care industry with several companies. His last job was working for GMR Company of Middleboro where he worked as a dispatcher, and coordinator. Richard also taught classes in CPR. Richard enjoyed working on his computer and was a fan of the Star Trek and the Star Wars Series. He loved going to the movies with his nephew, Bobby Smith. Richard was a member of the Golden Rule Lodge AF & AM in Wakefield.
Richard was engaged to Lori Phinney and they had made plans to be married this year to start a new chapter of their lives together.
He is survived by his two sisters, Kay Smith of Salem, MA and Gail Rozkydol of Indianapolis, Indiana: a nephew, Bobby Smith of Salem and his fiancé, Lori Phinney of Alberta, Canada, and many friends.
A Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2022, at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral home, 82 Lynn ST, Peabody facility from 11:45 until 1:00 PM followed by Services there at 1:00 PM. Burial will be in the Greenlawn Cemetery, Salem, MA. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the American Heart Association, 300 5th Ave, Suite 6, Waltham, MA 02451 in his memory.
