Peabody – Richard J. McQuade 86, beloved husband of the late Dianne (Kempton) McQuade, died Friday, April 21, 2023 at Salem Hospital.

Born and raised in Lynn, he was the son of the late Clement and Mary (Curley) McQuade. He received his education at St. Mary’s School in Lynn. He has resided in Peabody for over thirty years.

An honorably discharged veteran, he served his country during the Vietnam Era as a member of the United States Army.

He is survived by nieces and nephews including, Kelly Guerschuny and her husband, Gavin of Canton and John McCaffrey and his wife, Amber of Florida. He was also the brother of the late Helen McCaffrey and John V. McQuade.

ARRANGEMENTS: His funeral service will be held graveside, at Cedar Grove Cemetery, 100R Cedar Grove Avenue, Peabody, Thursday, April 27, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
