Obituary For Richard N. Erickson, Jr.

Richard N. Erickson, Jr., 73, of Beverly, MA, passed away peacefully, Thursday, February 2, 2023, at Beverly Hospital. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Richard was born in Salem, MA, on March 9, 1949, the son of the late, Gloria (Mitchell) Erickson and Richard N. Erickson, Sr. He was raised in Lynnfield and Gloucester having graduated from Gloucester High School. Richard furthered his education graduating from the Illinois Institute of Technology. He was employed for many years as a Financial Administrator with Minuteman Arc, Inc. in Concord, MA. Richard is survived by his loving wife, Rosa (Marques) Erickson, three children, Richard Erickson, III, his wife Christina, Christopher Erickson and Jennifer Erickson, along with his grandson, Hunter. He also leaves behind two brothers, Neal and Carl Erickson, his wife Gina; his sister-in-law Esabel and her husband George Levesque. In addition, he will be missed by many nieces and nephews and beloved family and friends. Richard enjoyed family activities, listening to music, watching football and eating good food. Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours, Thursday, February 9, 2023 from 4:00-7:00 PM at The Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St. Peabody, MA 01960. A funeral service to celebrate Richard’s life will be held, Friday at 11:00AM at the funeral with a burial to follow at Saint Mary’s Cemetery in Salem, MA.
