Obituary For Scott J. Webster

Saugus – Scott J. Webster 51, formerly of Peabody, died unexpectedly at home on Sunday, September 26, 2021.

Born in Saugus, he was the son of Charlene D. (Wentworth) Webster of Peabody and Daniel Webster of Danvers. He was raised in Peabody and was a graduate of Peabody High School, class of 1990. An outstanding athlete, Scott was the quarterback and MVP of the Peabody High School football team.

An honorably discharged veteran, he served his country during the Gulf War as a member of the United States Army and continued his service to his country as a member of the Army Reserves.

Scott had been employed for many years at Ira Automotive Group in Danvers, starting as a car salesman and working his way up to financial manager.

A resident of Peabody for most of his life, he was an avid sports fan and enjoyed playing golf.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son, Scott Webster, his daughter, Stephanie Webster, both of Newburyport, two sisters, Jennifer Webster and Danielle Webster both of Danvers, his former wife, Kelli (Toltz) Webster of Newburyport and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was also the brother of the late Daniel Webster.

ARRANGEMENTS: His funeral service will be held graveside, at Cedar Grove Cemetery, 100R Cedar Grove Ave., Peabody, Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at 11:00 a.m., concluding with military honors. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Arrangements by the Conway Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675.
