Scott M Gilbert, 42, of Lynn, died unexpectedly on Sunday June 27, 2021. Born in Salem, he was the son of Denise Gilbert of Lynn and Michael Gilbert of Maine. Scott was employed as a warehouse worker and most recently was working for Fitzgerald Tile.

Scott enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid fisherman who fished throughout the waters on the North Shore and Maine. He also enjoyed watching all of Boston’s professional sports teams, especially the Bruins. What was most valued to Scott was family and being with them on special occasions. He will be dearly missed by all.

Scott is survived by his mother, Denise Gilbert and her longtime companion, Nicholas Ragucci, Sr, his father, Michael Gilbert, his two brothers, Ryan Gilbert and Paul Brienza, his aunt and uncle, Lisa and Robert Filadoro, his cousins, Amanda Filadoro and Danny Morin, his nieces and nephews, Ryan James and Emma Gilbert, and Anthony Brienza, his uncles, Richard and Robert Morin and by many dear friends.

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday from 5:00 until 8:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St, followed by his Funeral Service at 8:00 PM to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
