Obituary For Sebastiano DiMauro

Sebastiano DiMauro, 78, of Peabody passed away on Monday, January 10, 2022, at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. He was the loving husband of Rosetta DiMauro with whom he shared 55 years of marriage.

Born, raised, and educated in Melilli, Italy, he was the son of the late Rosario and Carmela (Carta) DiMauro. He lived in Italy until emigrating to the United States in 1966.

Mr. DiMauro had been employed by Joe Pace & Son where he worked for many years until the time of his retirement in 2013. Sebastiano truly loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He loved cruising with his wife and vacationing with his family at the Cape. He enjoyed bowling and was a member of the Mets Bowling League and Inter Soccer Club. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend who will be missed by all who knew him. In addition to his wife, Sebastiano is survived by his children, Elina Bisconti and her husband Benedetto of Peabody, Diana DiMauro and her husband Neil Poster of Lynn, and Laura DeLuca and her husband Anthony of Peabody; his grandchildren, Jonathan, Cassidy, Kylee, Andrew, Alessandra, Sofia, and Anthony; and his great granddaughter, Charlotte; and many extended family members and friends. Arrangements: His funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. John the Baptist Church, 17 Chestnut St., Peabody, Saturday, January 15, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours at the Conway Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, Friday from 3 to 7 p.m. Burial in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. All attendees are required to wear a mask and adhere to social distancing guidelines. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 3810590.
