She spent over 25 years in the Massachusetts Trial Probate and Family Court as a Judicial Secretary until her retirement in 2017. She found a second career as an antiques dealer at the Bo-Mar Hall in Wells, Maine which gave her immense joy.

Her time was best spent with friends and family, especially her cherished cousins, on the North Shore and her family's cottage on Moody Beach on Wells, Maine. Shelly enjoyed skiing, playing golf, dancing to disco, bargain hunting, and making memories every day. Her vitality and love of life and others were unmatched and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her long-term partner, Mark Menici of Danvers and her two cherished children, Casey and Kyle O'Donnell of Danvers and New York City respectively, as well as countless grateful loved ones near and far. They can all find solace in knowing that she is peacefully reunited with her parents and beloved brother Danny McGuiggan.

Shelly was the most kind, generous, caring human being we know. She was a shining star in our lives and as close to an angel on earth as you can get. She will be dearly missed by everyone who was Blessed to know her. Mark, Casey, Kyle. . . there simply are no words to express our sorrow so I'll borrow some from Jim Brickman (one of Shelly's favorites). "If love is what we believe in, I'll see you in heavens first bright star. And if seeing is believing, I'll look into the skies and there you are, you're not that far, cause love is what we believe in. Now, love will break your heart, when you say goodbye, but love is worth the pain and all the tears you cry....AND you are in our hearts, and LOVE is what we believe in." We love you FOREVER, Tree & Rao
