Peabody – Soumela Kakoulidou Zamakis, formerly of Watertown and Peabody, Ma passed away peacefully surrounded by loving family on February 12, 2023 at the Massachusetts General Hospital Boston, Ma.

Beloved wife of Emmanuel (Manoli) Zamakis. Adored mother of Kalliopi Zamakis Giampanis and her husband Niko Giampanis of Andros, Greece, Anastasia Zamakis of Watertown, Ma and Vaios Zamakis of Peabody, Ma. Proud Yia-Yia of Michael Orellana, Antonios Giampanis, Emmanuel Giampanis and Christopher Orellana. Soumela was predeceased by her parents, Mixhali and Anastasia Kakoulidou; and her Brothers Petro and Panagiotis, lovingly survived by relatives.

Soumela was a kind and generous women who was loved and will be missed by all her family and friends. Soumela loved to spend time with her husband, children and grandchildren. ARRANGEMENTS: A visiting hour will be held at the Conway Cahill Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, Thursday, February 16, 2023 from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. followed by a funeral service at St. Vasilios Greek Orthodox Church, 5 Paleologos St., Peabody at 10:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
