Wakefield – Stavroula (Sakkas) Barounis 85, formerly of Peabody, beloved wife of the late Athas Barounis, died Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at the Lahey Medical Center in Burlington.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in law, Jack & Zepure Barounis of Bedford, MA; a daughter and son-in-law, Joanna & Alex Litzos of Wakefield, MA; his grandchildren, Stephanie Barounis, Kristina Barounis, Stacy Litzos, and Angelina Pelletier & her husband Shane and four great-grandchildren.

ARRANGEMENTS: Her funeral service will be held at St. Vasilios Greek Orthodox Church, 5 Paleologos St. Peabody, Monday, December 20, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
