Sandwich – Steve Andreadakis 94, of Sandwich, formerly of Peabody, died peacefully at the Beth Israel Hospital in Plymouth, MA on August 25, 2023. He was pre-deceased by his wife, Mary (Sclavounos) Andreadakis with whom he shared sixty-nine years of marriage.

He was born in Piraeus, Greece on March 23, 1929, son of the late George N. and Eugenia (Sideris) Andreadakis. He moved to Peabody in 1952 where he met and married Mary. He also resided in North Andover, Newport Richey, FL and Greece before moving to Sandwich.

Steve was an engineer in the Greek Navy before emigrating to the U.S. He co-founded an engineering firm, specializing in jet engine components.

He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, George and Elena Andreadakis of Berkeley, CA, two daughters and a son-in-law, Janice and Chuck Darzenta of Sandwich and Cally Andreadakis of North Andover, four grandchildren, Alexandra, Nicholas and his wife Ada Darzenta, Christianna and Alec Beresford, a great grandson, Niko Darzenta and many nieces and nephews.

ARRANGEMENTS: A visitation will be held at the Conway Cahill Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, Friday, September 8, 2023 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. followed by a service in the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. Burial in the Cedar Grove Cemetery in Peabody to follow.
