Such sad news. I lived across the street from the Mercers, on Elizabeth lane , my whole life . Lester and my dad would tinker in the gaarage or come for cold drinks w Gail . Steven was just year older than I was but he wa always so kind to me. I'll always remember his smile . So sorry for your family JJill. ... you were a great big sister and I never saw you without Steven . He will be missed .
So very sorry you have lost Steven at such a young age. I grew up next door to Mercers in Peabody and have such good memories of Steven as one of the busy kids in the neighborhood. Susan Foster (one of the Elizabeth Lane kids)
I am so sorry to read this today. I was Steve's next door neighbor at the lake for many years. I know he enjoyed talking with my husband and myself ....and we both enjoyed the outdoors and boating etc..... This is a great photo of him. My condolences to your family.....
