I am truly sorry to of the loss of my longtime friend, Soupy. Her and her family will be added to my special prayers. Please accept my condolences.

I was deeply saddened to learn of the passing of my good friend's wife, Susan. Although it has been years since Charlie, Susan and I been apart since moving to Florida, I have always kept them and Lisa in my thoughts and prayers and always hoped I would see them all one day. I will always remember the good times we had growing up in Peabody and the many laughs over Susan's quick wit and humor. Will never forget her smile. My deepest condolences to Charlie and Lisa.

From 5 years old my mother worked at the Danvers Savings Bank. I used to call everyday and speak with Soupy on the phone. When I was a teenager I had a summer job at the bank and had to stop by and see her everyday. Her spirit lit up every room and I loved her big hugs. She was SPECIAL! She always looked like a million bucks. How lucky her family was to have her. RIP Soupy

Though it has been a while since I last saw Soupy, I think often about her inviting smile, her sharp wit, her uplifting laughter, and her innate ability to make everyone smile. We are still in shock! Our sympathy goes out to the entire family. Sue & I go back to the days when she came to this country & we were very close. My mother made our clothes so Sue, Sandy & I were dressed alike. She made me laugh every time we talked on the phone & gave me the news about town before it hit the papers. When she needed help, she would always call Donnie. We loved her and the world will not be the same without her. Rest in peace my friend & we will meet again.

To Soupy's family: I am so very sorry for your loss. I knew her years ago from working at the bank, and she was one of my favorite people. Every encounter I had with her left me either laughing or smiling, or both. I wish you comfort in your time of sorrow. Stacey Barnett Rebmann
