Theresa (Giorgione) Caruso, 97, of Peabody, died Monday December 26, 2022, at the Advina Care Country Center in Newburyport following a brief illness. She was the devoted wife of the late Henry Caruso.

Born in Avellino, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Gerald and Evelyn (Matsolini) Giorgione. She was raised and educated in Italy and has lived in Lynn and Peabody for the past few years.

Theresa worked as a Salesclerk at the former Hoffman’s Department Store in Lynn for 25 years before retiring years ago.

Theresa is survived by her two sons, Robert Caruso of Peabody and Jerry Caruso of Gardner, her daughter, Evelyn Cipoletti of Peabody and by her beloved six grandchildren, Caitlin, Micayla, Matthew, Kiley, Lauren, and Christian. She was predeceased by her brothers, Ralph and Mario Giorgione.

A visitation will be held on Thursday from 9:00 until 10:00 AM followed by her Funeral Service at 10:00 AM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St, Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Burial will be In St. Michaels Cemetery, Boston.
