Obituary For Valmore J. Parrott Jr.
Valmore J. Parrott Jr., age 85, of Salisbury, passed away on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at Anna Jaques Hospital in Newburyport. He was the beloved husband of Margaret Pearse-Parrott.
Born in Attleboro, he was the son of the late Valmore J. and Antoinette M. (Ferrara) Parrott. An honorably discharged veteran, he served his country during the Korean Conflict as a member of the United States Army.
Mr. Parrott had worked in the trucking industry for over 50 years and was a well loved and respected businessman.
Valmore will be remembered for his great smile and kind heart. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend who gave the best hugs and who will be missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Roger Parrott of Wakefield; his step children, Alexandra Panacopoulos, Charles Panacopoulos, Laura Andolino and her husband John, and Debra Murtagh and her husband John; his grandchildren, Jason Skane and his wife Cortney, Stephanie Fiore and her husband Mel, Rachel Parrott, Ashley Velagic and her husband Miran, Jennifer Morrissey and her husband Shawn, Cody Murtagh, and Nathan Andolino; his great grandchildren, including James Skane, Kaylee Fiore, Shelby Skane, Melody Fiore, Tyson Fiore, Jordynn Skane, Emma Morrissey, CJ Morrissey, Emile Velagic and Finn Panacopoulos. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Valmore was predeceased by his son, Louis Parrott, and his daughter, Debra Skane.
Arrangements: Visiting hours will be held at the Conway Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody on Monday, January 24, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. followed by a service in the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. All attendees are required to wear a mask and adhere to social distancing guidelines. Burial in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Peabody.
