The family of the Nuer-Ologo, Otua, Nyumuteye, and Akunor Family of Osudoku, Sra, and Asutuare and the family of the late Asafoatse Kofi Dickah , of Plau-Kpong, Somanya deeply regret to announce the death of their beloved Victoria Dede Nyumuteye-Akunor.

Victoria Dede Nyumuteye-Akunor, 77, of Nahant, formerly of Lynn and Accra, Ghana, passed away on Sunday, October 17, 2021, at Jesmond Nursing Home in Nahant.

Victoria was born in Accra, Ghana on December 9, 1943. She was the daughter of the late Emmanuel Richard Tetteh and Grace Nguah Nyumuteye-Akunor.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend, who will be missed by all who knew her.

Victoria is survived by her two daughters, Jacqueline Krantz and Erica Johnson; a grandson, Alexander Krantz; two brothers, Joseph and Stephen Nyumuteye-Akunor; her sister, Adelaide Akunor Vonleh; and her niece, Nicole Kolah Vonleh. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Robert Nyumuteye-Akunor.

Services for Victoria will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of the Conway Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St. Peabody, MA.
