Virginia Lettie (Lee) Dobson, age 87, of Peabody passed away on Thursday, July 15, 2021, at home, surrounded by her loving family.

She was the beloved wife of the late George W. Dobson. Born and raised in Gloucester, she was the was the daughter of the late William Morton and Carrie Eveline (Nickerson) Lee. She received her education from Gloucester High School. Virginia lived in Peabody for 14 years.

Mrs. Dobson had been employed at the New England Center at the University of New Hampshire, where she worked as a chef for many years.

Virginia was a wonderful artist and talented painter. She was an avid reader and enjoyed cooking, bowling, and playing cards with her friends. Virginia was also a cat lover. Above all, she was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend who will be missed by all who knew her.

Virginia is survived by her daughter, Robyn Lee Pelletier of Lynnfield, her granddaughter, Kristen Lee Hope Hill of Gloucester, her great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
