Obituary For William "Bill" F. Brennan Jr.

William F. “Bill” Brennan, Jr., 75, of Peabody, died early Thursday morning, August 11, 2022, at his home following a lengthy illness.

Born in Lynn, he was the son of the late William Brennan and the late Mary (Aylward) Brennan. He was a lifelong resident of Peabody and a graduate of Peabody High School, Class of 1964.

Bill served in the US Coast Guard and following his service worked at Stahl Finish Company in Peabody and later at Pickering Oil Company in Salem and Belcher Oil Company in Revere. He loved the lakes region of New Hampshire, boating, eating out, celebrating holidays and spending time with his family.

Bill is survived by two sisters, Elizabeth Graczyk and Kathryn Brennan of Peabody; his sister-in-law Susan Brennan of Gilford, NH; four nieces Christine Maguire and her husband Jeffrey of Peabody, Beth Brennan O’Donnell and her husband David of Peabody, Sarah Bousquet and her husband Brian of Framingham, and Nora Brennan of Warwick, Rhode Island. He is also survived by his great nephews and nieces, Joseph Maguire, Patrick Maguire, Morgan O’Donnell, Maeve O’Donnell, and Lucy O’Donnell of Peabody; Cameron Gavitt and Finley Gauvin of Warwick, RI, and Brennan Bousquet of Framingham. He was predeceased by his two brothers, John E. “Jack” Brennan and James P. Brennan of Peabody, and his brother-in-law, Frank Graczyk.

ARRANGEMENTS: His funeral mass will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2022 at 11:00 AM at St. Ann's Church, 140 Lynn Street, Peabody. Visiting hours will be held on Saturday morning from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Burial in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, 131 Broadway, Lynn.
