Jean, Ellen, John, Ann, Mark and family- please accept my sincere condolences regarding Ruth's passing. I was very fortunate that she was my "second mom" growing up and I have many, many fond memories of time spent at 30 Hillcrest Ave/Greenie woods and especially at 7c's on Thompson Lake. She was an incredibly dynamic and positive person who was a great support/friend to my parents and our family. As the role of homemakers/women in our society shifted, she was very encouraging of my mom as she returned to school for degrees in nursing and then divinity. Ruth was a great cook and meals at home and at the lake were almost always accompanied by lively discussions regarding topics of the day which I always looked forward to. Ruth created and nurtured a home/environment/family that was filled with love and support and which you all radiated outward into the world. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of transition of the loss of her physical presence in your lives. May the many memories you have of her be a blessing. Ken Norton, Tilton, NH.
