Adrienne Rose Libbey, 85, of Peabody, formerly of Revere, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at Avita of Newburyport surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of James Paul Libbey with whom she shared 50 years of marriage. Adrienne was born in Boston on May 22, 1938 and was the cherished daughter of the late Donald and Eleanor (Benson) Donati.

She grew up in Revere where she loved to frequent the beach. Adrienne enjoyed her annual visits to Aruba where she and James had a timeshare for many years. Her life was always centered around family and friends.

In addition to her husband, Adrienne is survived by her children, Donald Greene III of Lynn, Bob Greene and his wife Viki of Billerica, the late Thomas Greene, Nancy Boudreau and her husband Eric of Groveland, Marie Kane and her husband Steve of Boscawen, NH, James Libbey and his wife Sue of Lyndonville, VT, and her beloved dog Thomas; her grandchildren, Danielle LeBlanc, Michelle Petrone, Nicole Dixon, Jennifer DiThomas, Anthony Barry, Mikayla Radcliff, Alysha Kane, Steven Kane, Cassandra Libbey, Heather Libbey, Bryan Walsh, and Anna Boudreau; and many beloved great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Sadly, in addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her siblings, Lillian Anderson and her husband John and Donald “Buddy” Donati.

Family and friends will honor Adrienne’s life by gathering for visiting hours at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St. Peabody, on Tuesday, September 26, 2023, from 9AM to 11AM, followed by a Funeral Service in the funeral home at 11AM. Entombment will follow at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park in Peabody. At the family’s request please OMIT flowers.
