Obituary For Alicia C. Persia
Lynn – Alicia C. (Bruttaniti) Persia 76, beloved wife of John D. Persia, died Thursday, November 9, 2023 at the North Shore Medical Center in Salem.
Born in Winthrop and raised in East Boston, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Ruth (Archer) Bruttaniti.
Mrs. Persia had been employed for twenty-eight years as a cook for the City of Lynn school department and at the time of her retirement she was working at the Lynn Vocational Technical Institute.
A resident of Lynn for over fifty years, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend who will be missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her husband with whom she shared fifty-seven years of marriage, she is survived by a daughter, Kimberly Peicott and her husband, Robert of Peabody, a son, John Persia and his wife, Tabitha of Brandon, FL, two grandchildren, Bailey and Melanie Peicott as well as nieces and a nephew.
ARRANGEMENTS: A visitation will be held at the Conway Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, Monday morning, November 13, 2023 from 9:00a.m. to 10:30 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass at the Holy Family Church, 21 Bessom St., Lynn at 11:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Burial in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the National Kidney Foundation of New England, 209 West Central St., Suite 207, Natick, MA 01760 (www.kidney.org).
