Angel Urbino, 86, of Peabody, MA, passed away peacefully at home, Friday, September 16, 2022, surrounded by family. He was the devoted the husband of the late, Minerva (Toribio) Urbino. Angel was born in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic, October 2, 1936, the son of the late, Otacilio Pena and Florencia Urbino. Angel served as the Pastor of Torrente de Cedron from 1969-2004. Angel was a pioneer of the gospel in the Northshore area, opening one of the first Spanish speaking churches at that time. He was noted always for his care for the church members, often visiting in their home. Angel lovingly known as "Pachi" will always be remembered by his humorous remarks and his well-known "Vive!!". Angel is survived by his loving daughter, Bridget Rosario and husband Nardo Rosario of Peabody, MA. Three grandchildren, Gamaliel Rosario, Joshua Rosario and Naomi Rosario. He also leaves behind one sister, Raisa Disla. Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours Thursday, September 22, 2022, from 9:00 – 11:00 AM at The Conway Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St. Peabody, MA 01960. A service will be held immediately following at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Pine Grove Cemetery in Lynn, MA.
