Obituary For Arthur R. Zalewski

Arthur R. Zalewski, 74, of Peabody, MA, passed away peacefully, Sunday, January 22, 2023. He was the devoted husband of Elaine (Pearson) Zalewski. Arthur was born in Peabody, March 21, 1949, the son of the late, Arthur and Roberta (Gallagher) Zalewski. He was raised and educated in Peabody, MA. Arthur honorably served his country in The United States Coast Guard and was a member of the Peabody V.F.W. He was employed for many years as a Facility Manager with Drager, Inc until his retirement. Arthur enjoyed Gardening, cooking and spending time with his family and friends. He is dearly missed by his family and will forever be remembered by friends and coworkers. Arthur is survived by his wife, Elaine Zalewski, children, Jason Zalewski and daughter, Kristin Zalewski. He also leaves behind four siblings, Edward Zalewski and wife, Cindy, Barbara Richmond, Steven Zalewski and wife Patty and John Zalewski, nieces, nephews and many dear friends. He was pre-deceased by his son, Robert and grandchild, Isla. Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours, Thursday, January 26, 2023, from 5:00 -7:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St. Peabody, MA 01960.

My heart is broken. He was my oldest brother. A great craftsman who could build anything and gardener that had the best flowers, herbs and vegetables in his garden. I will miss calling him and asking how he would prepare something I want to cook. He was fun to be around and had a great personality. As much as his family will miss him he will be welcomed by his family in heaven.
