Barbara M. Ferrara,79, of Peabody (former long-time resident of Danvers) passed away peacefully on Tuesday October 25, 2022, at the Kaplan House in Danvers.

She was the devoted wife of the late, Ralph Ferrara. Barbara was born in Boston and raised in East Boston. She was the daughter of the late Nicholas Lombardi and Victoria (Manzo) Lombardi. Barbara loved to cook and host Sunday family dinners. She loved to play music and dance at any moment. Barbara spent most of her life making a loving home for her husband and two daughters. She worked at BJ's Wholesale Club in Danvers from when it opened, until she retired in 2005. Barbara is survived by her two daughters, Christine Ferrara Osgood and her husband James of Peabody, and Jennifer Ferrara Ferrandi and her husband Joseph of Saugus, her brother Nicholas Lombardi and his wife Terry of Peabody, and her sister-in-law Barbara O'Brien and her husband Ken of Newton, New Hampshire. Barbara was sister of the late Marianne (Lombardi) Arciero and the sister-in-law of the late Rosanne (Ferrara) Sujko. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and her beloved granddogs Milo, Gigi and Rocco. She will be dearly missed.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours, Wednesday, November 2, 2022, from 10-11AM at The Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St. Peabody, MA 01960. A service will be held immediately following at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel. Burial is private.
