Peabody – Darrel R. Dahlhaus 74, died on Saturday, August 23, 2023 at CareOne Peabody.

He was the son of the late Richard “Dick” P. and Ann “Andi” E. (Nawrocki) Dahlhaus. He earned his bachelor’s degree in business management, Summa Cum Laude from the University of Massachusetts in 1980.

An honorably discharged veteran, he served his country during the Vietnam Era as a member of the United States Army.

A local entrepreneur, Mr. Dahlhaus had been involved in various business in the North Shore area having worked as an artist, a consultant, in technical illustrations and personalized printing services, and real estate sales.

A longtime resident of Peabody, he was active with the Peabody Senior Center and a member of the Danvers Art Association.

He is survived by a niece, Hilary Dahlhaus (DeVon), a nephew, Jonathan Dahlhaus (Lisa), a great nephew, Kasen Dahlhaus, all of Henderson, NV, a cousin, Sandy Hathaway (Kelvin), and a very dear friend, Ingrid Mercedes. He was also the step-son of the late Bernard Dignard, and brother of the late Jane Ellen Dahlhaus (1976) and Kevin Edward Dahlhaus (2019).

ARRANGEMENTS: His funeral service will be private and he will be laid to rest at Longhill Cemetery. Arrangements by the Conway Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody.
