David Sherman Wright, 78, of Peabody, formerly of Danvers, passed away unexpectedly at home on Friday, November 10, 2023. He was born in Lawrence, MA on August 6, 1945 and was the cherished son of the late Elmer and Margaret (Hollis) Wright.

David spent his professional life as a Machinist. He began work for the United Shoe Corporation of Beverly, owned his own shop named Hollis Manufacturing in Danvers and ultimately retired from Aero Manufacturing of Beverly. David enjoyed spending time with his friends and playing Texas Hold 'em.

David is survived by his son, David Alan Wright and his wife Katie Regan Wright of Beverly; his brother, Alan Wright of Texas; his niece Kimberly Wright; and his nephew Eric Wright, both of Texas.

Visiting hours will be held at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn Street, Peabody on Friday, November 17, 2023 from 4PM to 7PM. Interment will be private.
