Debra M. (Pendleton) Gardner, 63, of Peabody, died Saturday November 11, 2023, at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital following a brief illness.

Born in Danvers, she was the daughter of the late Earl R and Katherine A (Berry) Pendleton. She was raised and educated in Peabody and was a graduate of Peabody High School.

After her children were raised, Debra worked as pharmacy technician and a teachers aid at the Higgins Middle School.

Debra is survived by her three sons, Joshua Gardner, Jason Gardner, and Nicholas Emerson, her sister, Kathryn L. Luz of Tempe, AZ, and her partner of 27 years Barry Hynes of Peabody, and by six nieces and nephews and three grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sisters, Pamela Long and Joan Pendleton.

Following cremation, visiting hours will be held on Thursday from 5:30 PM until 7:30 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St, Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. A Graveside service will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM at the family lot in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Salem.
