Obituary For Diane M. Dyko

Diane M. Dyko, 87, of Peabody, formerly of Somerville, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 21, 2024 at Beverly Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late James Dyko.

She was born in Boston on July 20, 1936 and was the cherished daughter of the late Louis and Mary (DeFalco) Itrato.

Diane is survived by her son, Joseph O’Brien; her two daughters, Diana Dyko and Lorraine Huber and her husband Ken; her two grandchildren, Brittany and Ryan Huber; her sister, Roseann Mahar of Everett; and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.

Sadly, in addition to her parents and husband, she is predeceased by her siblings, Louis Itrato and Marylou Costante.

Diane touched many people’s lives and she will be missed dearly by her family and friends.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Adelaide Church, 708 Lowell Street, Peabody, MA on Monday, January 29, 2024 at 10AM. Interment will follow at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park in Peabody.     Joe, Diana & Lorraine, So sorry to read about your mom. I met your mom when I sold her the house in Saugus when she moved out of Medford. She was very kind and we got to know each other quite well. I hope your happy memories get you through your grief. She was very proud of her children and her family was important to her.
