Peabody – Donna Marie (Comeau) McMath 74, died peacefully on Friday, December 29, 2023 at the Devereux House Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Marblehead.

Born and raised in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Verna (Blanden) Comeau. She received her education in the Salem school system and graduated from Salem High School, class of 1967.

Ms. McMath had been employed for twenty-nine years as a direct care supervisor at the Hogan Regional Center in Danvers until the time of her retirement in 2019.

Dedicating most of her life to caring for others, Donna’s greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, cousin and friend who will be missed by all who knew her.

Surviving her are two daughters, Christine Medeiros of Peabody and Kimberly Hiltonen and her husband, Shawn of Salem, seven grandchildren, Brian, Adam and Katelyn Pszenny, Kyle and Dylan Medeiros, Taylor and Chase Hiltonen, two brothers, Rodney Comeau and his wife, Susan of Beverly and Ronald Comeau and his wife, Deborah of Groveland as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was also the mother of the late Cheryl Pszenny and mother-in-law of the late Walter Pszenny.

ARRANGEMENTS: Visiting hours will be held at the Conway Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, Friday, January 5, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. followed by a service in the funeral home at 4:00 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
