Frank (Bonaccorso) Bona, of North Port Florida, and formerly of Peabody, passed away on July 13, 2023, at the Tidewell Hospice in Venice Florida, surrounded by his loving family.

Son of the late Samuel and Carmela (Canderozzi) Bonaccorso, he was raised in Everett and later moved to Reading and was a graduate of Reading High School class of 1958.

Frank is survived by his wife Mary (Crummett) Bona, with whom he shared 61 years of marriage, his three children, Lisa Dicentes and her husband Dominic of North Port Florida, David Bonaccorso and his partner Lauri of Greenland NH and Michele Girolamo and her husband Fred of Peabody MA. Ten grandchildren: Shawna, Jessica, Kevin, Ashley, Kyle, Maria, Kristine, Anjole, Bianca, and Marc and 5 great grandchildren: One sister Marcia (Marty) Corey of Boston, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other loving relatives.

Frank worked for Blanchard’s Liquors in Boston, and John Hancock Insurance Company in Reading. He was an avid collector of Antiques, Vintage Papers, Military Items, and other collectables.

Always making a joke, he will be remembered for his quick wit, humor, and great conversations. His family was his pride and joy. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Visiting hours will be held Monday September 18, 2023, from 4:00-7:00 pm, at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St, Peabody. His funeral will be held Tuesday September 19, 2023, at 11:00 am at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St, Peabody, which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. The burial will be at Puritan Lawn Cemetery, Peabody.
