Obituary For Georgianna Caminero

Georgianna Caminero, 71, of Peabody, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 25, 2024 at Salem Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Gerardo Caminero Sr. with whom she shared 54 years of marriage.

She was born in Lynn, MA on December 14, 1952 and was the cherished daughter of the late George and Eva (Richardson) Gauthier.

To know GG is to love her. She was kind and giving. She loved people fiercely. And when you were in, you knew you were in. She was also fiercely loyal. She was always unapologetically herself, always. If you ever needed anything and she had a nickel, she’d find a dime and give it to you.

GG spent her lifetime making others laugh and in hot pursuit of Captain America. She spent over 25 years working with amazing friends and colleagues at Partners Healthcare.

In addition to her husband, Gerardo, GG is survived by her son, Gerardo Caminero Jr; her daughter, Eva Jackson and her husband Scott; her grandchildren, Scott Jackson Jr and his wife Samantha, Laura Jackson, Gerardo Caminero III, George Jackson, Ayden Caminero, Nigel Melendez, and the late Kevin Melendez; her sister Silvia Rodriguez; and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.

Visiting hours will be held at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St, Peabody, on Saturday, February 3, 2024 from 2PM to 4PM followed by a Funeral Service in the funeral home at 4PM. Interment will be private. At the family’s request please OMIT flowers. Donations may be made in GG’s memory to Susan G. Komen by visiting www.komen.org

GG was an incredibly special person. I was lucky to work with GG at then Partners Healthcare. She loved her job. The team and the patients she helped everyday. She left an indelible mark on her friends and colleagues at Partners. She was fiercely loyal and she brought a snail to my face every time I saw GG. She will be so missed. Rest in peace GG. Love, Rose Sheehan
