Harry Paganis, 94, 0f Peabody formerly of Boxford, died Wednesday evening at his home surrounded by his loving family following a brief illness. He was the devoted husband of the late Patricia (Georgiou) Paganis.

Harry was born in Peabody and was the son of the late Peter and Toula (Poulos) Paganis. He was raised and educated in Peabody and was a graduate of Peabody High School, class of 1945. He lived throughout the North Shore from Marblehead, Swampscott, and Boxford and came back to Peabody where he has lived for the past 7 years.

Following his graduation from high school, Harry enlisted in the United States Army and served until is honorable discharge in December of 1946.

Harry was the owner of Victory Tanning for over 35 years before retiring in 1986. He enjoyed golfing, gardening, and reading, but his favorite time was being with his family. He will be dearly missed.

Harry is survived his son, Peter Paganis of Peabody, his two daughters, Dayna Morini of Chestnut Hill and Pamela Cronin of Lynn, and by his sister, Katina Barbas. He was predeceased by his sister, Veneta Gaieski.

A private funeral service was held on Monday with burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody.
