Lynnfield – Joan K. Alphen 89, passed away at Advinia Care in Salem on Monday, January 22, 2024.

Joan was born March 13, 1934 in Medford, to her parents Gerard and Mary Friel. Joan raised her family in Arlington before moving to Lynnfield in 1976.

Joan is survived by her 3 children, Cindy Maddaleni and her husband, Michael of Peabody, Chris Alphen of Littleton and matt Alphen of Danvers, six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

ARRANGEMENTS: A visitation will be held at the Conway Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, Tuesday, February 6, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass at St. Adelaide’s Church, 708 Lowell St., Peabody at 11:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Burial in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
