Obituary For John P. Ciepiela

Peabody – John P. Ciepiela 68, beloved husband of Rose (Mastrangelo) Ciepiela, died Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at the North Shore Medical Center-Salem Hospital. Born and raised in Chelsea, he was the son of the late Charles and Stella (Sikorski) Ciepiela. He received his education in the Chelsea school system and graduated from Chelsea High School. Mr. Ciepiela had been employed for twenty-five years as a ramp supervisor for United Airlines until the time of his retirement in 2015. A resident of Peabody for the past thirteen years, he was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend who will be missed by all who knew him. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Kimberly Keough and her husband, Austin, two sons, Todd Ciepiela and Jonathan Ciepiela all of Peabody and a granddaughter, Madison Keough. ARRANGEMENTS: His funeral service will be held at the Conway Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, Monday, May 10, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. A visiting hour will be held prior to the service on Monday morning from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Burial in the Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody. All attendees are required to wear a mask and adhere to social distancing guidelines.

    I worked with John at United from 1991 till his retirement. He was always a gentleman to me and on the worse day he made us laugh. Sending prayers to his family he spoke of all the time. Barbara DeFronzo

    I'm so sorry for your loss, John and I worked together at United Airlines until he retired ,we had a lot of laugh's at work and on the golf course .
