Jose Francisco Medina, 76 years old, and a Peabody Resident for almost 2 decades, passed away peacefully at home on January 18th, 2024. Jose was the beloved husband of Magdalena Tambu.

Jose was born on (03/04/1947) in the Dominican Republic, and was the beloved son of (Jose Medina and Altagracia Reguillo). After living in the Dominican Republic for most of his life, he relocated to his new home in Peabody.

In addition to his wife, Jose is survived by his son Emilio, and his stepchildren Griselda, Emely and Miguel Angel to whom he was a loving father. Also, by his nieces and nephews abroad, his siblings in the Dominican Republic, and his loving grandchildren.

Jose was well known by his great sense of humor and contagious smile, which he offered to everyone around him.

Although it is a great loss for our family, we want to celebrate his life and legacy.

His funeral will be held from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral home, 82 Lynn Street, Peabody, MA on Friday, January 26, 2024 from 4PM to 7PM. From there Jose will be flown to the Dominican Republic, home where he always wished to go back to. He will always be remembered and loved. RIP Curiche.
