Obituary For Louis R. Guiffre

Louis R. Guiffre, 84, of Peabody, formerly of Everett, passed away on Sunday, November 12, 2023 at the Salem Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Marie G. (Ruggiero) Guiffre with whom he shared 60 years of marriage.

He was born in Malden on December 25, 1938 and was the cherished son of the late John and Angelina (Arrigo) Guiffre.

Louis lived in Everett for 60 years before moving to Peabody. He attended Everett Public schools including Everett Vocational High School. He loved cars, especially stock car races. He also loved 60’s music, taking road trips with his wife and children. Louis was employed by Market Forge 35 years.

In addition to his wife, Louis is survived by his children, Michael L. Guiffre of Peabody and Leanna Harris and her husband Greg of Middleton; his grandson Louis M. Guiffre; his 3 sister-in-law’s, Camille Della Piana of Dracut, Frances Deibel of W. Bridgewater and Elena O’Neil and her husband John of St. Augustine, FL; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial visitation will be held at Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St. Peabody on Saturday, November 25, 2023 from 2PM to 4PM followed by a Funeral Service at 4PM in the funeral home. Interment will be private. At the family’s request please OMIT flowers. Donations may be made in Louis’ memory to a charity of your choice.

    I miss you so much already. Mom always said "oh you are your father's daughter." Take care of my baby Lil, I'm sure she's already canoodling in your recliner with you and at least that makes me smile.

    No words can be said. You have & will be a part of this family for ever. The parties, meals, stories, trips, etc - so many to mention in 60 years will never be forgotten. We met when I was about 9 years old when you started dating my sister. I was the annoying little sister. Now 60+ years later I may still be that little annoying sister, but loved & respected you always. I will miss you, RIP. Love Elena
