Maria V Liver, 91, of Lynn, died peacefully Saturday, November 18, 2023, surrounded by her family at the Advinia Care Nursing Home in Salem following a brief illness. She was the devoted wife of the late Ephraim Liver.

Born in Moca, Dominican Republic, she was the daughter of the late Pedro and Ana (Vargas) Santiago. Maria was a Registered Nurse who worked in the healthcare industry in various capacities over the years before she retired.

Maria is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Aida and Dario Vargas, her brothers and sisters-in-law, Miguel and Melba Santiago, and Jose and Mayra Santiago, of Peabody, her sisters, Ana Gonzalez and Sylvia Santiago, of Salem, her beloved three grandchildren, Aida L Guzman, Omar Vargas, and Darrel Vargas, and by many great grand children, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Antonio, Francisco, and Epifania Santiago.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM followed by her Funeral Mass at 12:00 PM at St. John’s Church, Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Burial will be on Monday November 27, 2023 at 11:00 AM in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Cedar Grove Ave, Peabody.
