To a special friend who could always brighten your day. Marianne was always there to lend a helping hand and gave so much to my program and the children in it ❤️. She always had a smile and loved to talk about her children and grandchildren who were the light of her life. She will be deeply missed but not forgotten.

To my Dear friend Marianne: We first meet when you came to my morning classes Then out of the blue you told me you were pregnant (with Ben), boy what a shock right? We made a tape of the songs we did in class as Ben liked the music as he heard it for almost 9 months. When Lenny was looking for an Administrative Assistant you applied for the job, I said you'd make a great fit to our Y, and you were and it became your Y too. We had many good times together. You always did above and beyond no mater what you were involved in, The Dance, The Golf Tournament, and in your everyday life. When you were going through your first bout of cancer we joked that "you are the ony person we know to gain weight on chemo". You fought cancer BRAVELY, with dignity never complaining, to the point most didn't know how uncomfortable you were. You loved your family and friends and would do anything for anyone. Rest in Peace, my friend, (proud to call you my friend), Love you, will miss you and never forget you. Say "hi" to Melissa for me. Deb Barrowclough

A tribute to my warrior sister. For me, Heaven seems a little bit brighter today and the earth is a little bit darker. My beautiful sister, childhood teaser, sometimes co-conspirator has taken her light from this place and brought it on to heaven. Did I hear angels laughing a bit today from one of her always funny stories? Yes, I think I did. If you met my sister Marianne, you know she had the ability to turn any situation, no matter how dire, into a story that would make you laugh. But If you met Marianne anytime during the last seven years, did you realize you met an absolute ferocious warrior? Well you did. She fought a seven year battle with breast cancer, kicked it to the back burner for a good bit and fought against it mightily with the help and support of her beautiful family (her husband Steve, Stacie and Jon, Emmy and Spencer, son Ben (and Marianne's and Steve's gorgeous granddaughters Layla and Morgan) when it made it ugly return. Being the warrior she is she rolled up her sleeves and fought that battle once again. Unfortunately, cancer proved to be a sneaky coward and a tougher foe. Steve thank you for being the love of my sisters life and your loving care through this fight. Stacie, Emmy and Ben thanks for being there for her - you all were always her pride and joy. Our hearts are truly broken today. Love you all, Uncle John, Judy, Ryan and Sarah
