Marlene Ann (O'Brien) Lee, 74, of Wilmington, formerly of Peabody, passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2024 at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center in Burlington surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of William “Bill” Lee. They were high school sweethearts sharing 57 years of marriage.

In addition to her husband, Bill, Marlene is survived by her 4 sons, Kevin Lee and his wife Nancy of Brentwood, NH, Brian Lee and his wife Arlene of Wilmington, Dennis Lee and his wife Brenda of Windham, NH and Jeremy Lee of Wilmington; her 6 grandchildren, Patrick Lee and his wife Holly, Meghan Lee, Robert Duquette and his wife Tina, and Sedona, Kiera and Declan Lee; her 5 great-grandchildren, Rose, Elizabeth, Benjamin, Ally and Elsie; her sisters-in-law, Ann and Maureen Lee; her brother-in-law, Dave Swain, and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.

Sadly, in addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her siblings, John O’Brien and Mary Swain.

I remember Marlene very well from Samuel Brown School in South Peabody. She had a "crush" on me long before I was old enough to like girls. As the third photo I've attached indicates, she was arguably the prettiest young lady in the eighth grade class.
