Obituary For Mary Kathryn Brennan
Mary K. "Kathy" Brennan, of Peabody, passed away peacefully at Rosewood Nursing Home on September 11, 2023.
Born June 4, 1955 in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late William F. Brennan and the late Mary (Aylward) Brennan. She lived in Peabody for most of her life.
Kathy was born with multiple disabilies. She attended Peabody Public Schools, as well as the John T. Berry School.
Kathy enjoyed spending her summers with her family at Lake Winnipesaukee. She loved bike riding, swimming, boating and especially walks with her Dad down the railroad tracks. Kathy loved celebrating birthdays & holidays with family.
Kathy was also a member of the Pioneer House where she looked forward to meeting up with friends and learning new skills.
Family would like to express their gratitude for the care Kathy received at the Lynn Shore Rest Home for many years.
Family is extremely grateful to Tom and Betty from Serenity Hospice, as they provided consistent care and compassion.
Kathy is survived by her sister Elizabeth "Betty" Graczyk of Peabody; her sister-in-law Susan Brennan of Gilford, NH; four nieces, Christine Maguire and her husband Jeffrey of Peabody, Beth Brennan O'Donnell and her husband David of Peabody, Sarah Bousquet and her husband Brian of Framingham, and Nora Brennan of Warwick, Rhode Island. She is also survived by her great nephews and nieces, Joseph Maguire, Patrick Maguire, Morgan O'Donnell, Maeve O'Donnell, and Lucy O'Donnell of Peabody; Cameron Gavitt and Finley Gauvin of Warwick, Rhode Island, Brennan Bousquet of Framingham and her loving cousins. She was predeceased by her three brothers, John E. "Jack" Brennan, William F. "Bill" Brennan, Jr., James P. "Jim" Brennan all of Peabody, as well as her brother-in-law, Frank J. Graczyk.
Expressions of sympathy can be sent to the Boston Center for Blind Children or the Cerebral Palsy Foundation to provide better medical interventions, access to critical information and a new vision for people living with disabilities.
Visiting hours will be held at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St. Peabody on Thursday, September 14, 2023 from 8:30AM to 10AM followed by her Funeral Mass at St. Ann Church in Peabody at 10:30AM. Interment will be at St. Mary Cemetery in Salem, MA.
