Michael J. White, 69, of Baldwinville, MA, formerly of Peabody, passed away on Friday December 22, 2023 at the Heywood Hospital in Gardner, MA surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of the late Janet D. (McCallum) White with whom he shared 30 years of marriage.

He was born in Lynn, MA on October 4, 1954 and was the cherished youngest child of the late William and Verna (Rawson) White.

Michael was a graduate of Lynn English High School class of 1972. He also attended Salem State college. He was employed for several years by Daniels Printing in Everett, MA. He was most recently employed by the town of Lynnfield, MA as a custodial engineer, before his retirement.

Michael was an avid fan of Boston sports, namely the Red Sox and Patriots. He could usually be found watching his favorite tv shows, including “The Rifleman”, “The Big Valley”, and “Magnum P.I.” He enjoyed cruises to Bermuda, trips to Encore Casino and eating out at his favorite restaurants.

Above all else, he was dedicated to his family and friends. His love, presence and support for his children, grandchildren and wife will never be forgotten.

Michael is survived by his 3 children, Matthew White and his wife Molly of Oregon, Jessica White and her loving companion James Galvin of Baldwinville, MA and Megan White and her loving companion David Obrien of Haverhill, MA; his grandchildren, Alexa Obrien, Aliyah Obrien, James Galvin, Zoey Galvin, Michael White, Lily Galvin and Finley White, as well as numerous cousins. He was predeceased by several aunts and uncles.

Visiting hours will be held at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, on Friday, December 29, 2023 from 9:15AM to 11:15AM followed by a procession to St. Adelaide Church in Peabody for a Funeral Mass to be celebrated in his honor at 12PM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Michael’s memory to Massachusetts Down Syndrome Congress.
