Obituary For Nellie Klopotosky

Nellie Klopotosky, passed away peacefully Friday, March 3,2023, surrounded by her loving family. She will be dearly missed. Nellie was born in Peabody, MA, the daughter of the late Vincent and Mary Klopotosky. She was a lifelong resident of Peabody and graduated from Peabody High School. Nellie furthered her education a became a graduate of Burdett College in Lynn, MA. She was employed for several years as a Legal Secretary with the law office of Arthur Frawley, the former Mayor of Lynn. Nellie was later employed with the Department of Safety for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts until her retirement. Nellie was a faithful member of The Calvary Baptist Church in Peabody. She was dedicated to her faith, family and friends. She loved animals, especially her cat, Kitty Kitty, whom she left behind. Nellie loved knitting, coastal drives and time with family and friends. Nellie is survived by her niece Elaine Gardner, grandnephew John McDonough and wife Barbara and grandniece Elaine McDonough and partner George Sousa. She also leaves behind great grandnieces Nicole Lopes and husband Joshua and Rachel Scharr and spouse Bonnie. Additionally, she will be remembered by great-great grandnephew Braydon Lopes and great-great grandniece Tayla Lopes. Among the many friends she leaves behind are her dear friends Jim, Joan Iris, Barbara and Pastor Andy. Nellie was a beautiful soul and her memory will live on forever. Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours, Wednesday March 8, 2023, from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM at The Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St. Peabody, MA 01960. A funeral service to celebrate Nellie’s life will immediately follow at the funeral home at 11:00 AM. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers please make donations in Nellie’s name to the MSPCA by visiting www.mspca.org.
