Obituary For Nicholas A Kokoras

Nicholas A Kokoras, 82, of Peabody, died unexpectedly on Saturday September 30, 2023, at Salem Hospital. He was the devoted husband of Georgia (Theodor) Kokoras with whom he shared over 43 years of marriage.

Born in Peabody, he was the son of the late Anthony N and Helen (Zambouras) Kokoras. He was a lifelong resident of Peabody and a graduate of Peabody High School, class of 1959.

Nicholas was a real estate manager who managed properties throughout Peabody up until his passing. He was also an extremely talented musician and was the master of the Bouzouki, a Greek Guitar. He played side by side his brother for over 65 years at multiple venues, weddings and night clubs.

Nicholas was a jack of all trades and could fix anything and everything in “his way.” He was very handy doing plumbing, carpentry, masonry, and electrical work. Besides his loving wife Georgia, he is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Eleni and Patrick Dumas of Salem, his brother George Kokoras, and by many dear friends throughout the North Shore. He was predeceased by his son, Christos Kokoras, and his sister, Marie Kokoras. Nicholas was a dog lover, especially of German Shepards, and is survived by his buddy Doc and was predeceased by Lily, Bianca, Coco and Foxy.

Visiting hours for Nicholas will be held on Friday from 4:00 until 8:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St, Peabody and his Funeral Service will on Saturday at 10:00 AM at St. Vasilios Greek Orthodox Church, 7 Paleologos St, Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody.
