Obituary For Paula J. Buckley

Peabody – Paula (Cunneen) Buckley 64, formerly of Malden, wife of Stephen Buckley, died Sunday, January 21, 2024 at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston.

Born in Cambridge, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Cecilia (Komosenski) Cunneen. She was raised in Malden and was a graduate of Malden High School, class of 1976.

A resident of Peabody for over twenty-five years, Paula was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend who will be missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Bryan Buckley of Merrimack, NH and Matthew Buckley of Woburn, 2 sisters, Linda Benson and her husband, Ray of Malden and Coleen Walsh of Derry, NH, a brother, Mike Cunneen of Derry, NH and several nieces and nephews. She was also the mother of the late Stephen Buckley and sister of the late Pam Clark.

ARRANGEMENTS: Visiting hours will be held at the Conway Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, Friday, February 2, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. followed by a service in the funeral home at 12:00 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Burial in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her honor to Mass General for children in memory of the late Stephen Buckley.
