Obituary For Pearl Cynthia Marie White

Monday December 18, 2023, Pearl Cynthia Marie (Labrecque) White, 76, passed away peacefully at home with her beloved husband at her side following a lengthy illness. She was the devoted wife of Philip David White with whom she shared over 32 years of marriage.

Born in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Leopold and Eva (Paquette) Labrecque. She was raised and educated in Salem and was a graduate of Salem High School, class of 1967.

Pearl was a senior assembler at the former Varian Company and then CPI in Beverly before retiring years ago.

Pearl was a natural athlete and loved the great outdoors. She was an avid skier and tennis player. Pearl was a fabulous cook, feeding others was her language of love. She enjoyed spending time with her husband at their vacation home in Sebago Lake in Maine where their passion was boating and fishing. Pearl was strong-willed and painfully honest and had a true zest for life. She was generous, loyal, and brave. She will be remembered for all the heart she shared with her friends and family. She truly loved each one of them. When her time came, she carried herself with dignity, strength, and full of love for those who went before her. She will be dearly missed.

Besides her loving husband, she is survived by her siblings, Robert Labrecque of Peabody, Claire Wilson of Salem, and Donna Maki of Peabody, her brother-in-law, Timothy and his wife Priscilla White of Peabody, sisters-in-law, Cheryl Downey and her fiancé Ralph Cammett of Marblehead, Linda and her husband Richard MarcAntonio of SC and by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Raymond Lebrecque, her sisters Lucille Hogon, Dianne Labrecque, and Evelyn Lebrecque, and her niece, Jaime Smith.

Following cremation, a Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on January 09, 2024, at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Burial will be private. Arrangements were made by the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, Peabody.
