Obituary For Priscilla Giftakis

Priscilla Giftakis, 90, of Peabody, MA passed away peacefully, Tuesday March 21, 2023, at Brightview Danvers. She was the devoted wife of the late, Theodore Giftakis. Priscilla was born in Salem, MA, April 17, 1932, the daughter of the late George and Mary (Kopanelli) Kajos. She was raised in Peabody and graduated from Peabody High School. Priscilla was later a graduate of Fisher Junior College in Boston, MA. She was employed part time as an Administrative Assistant. Before her retirement she was an Executive Secretary with the Peabody Counsel on aging. Priscilla was a member of Saint Vasilios Greek Orthodox Church. She enjoyed time with family and friends, cooking and traveling. Her greatest memories were those she created with her late husband Theodore traveling to Greece. She will be dearly missed and forever remembered. Priscilla is survived by her two children, Arthur G. Giftakis and wife, Maryanne and Ann Bishop and her husband Robert. She also leaves behind six grandchildren, Christian, Eve, Ariana and her husband, Michael, Ben, Nicholas and Aidan. Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours, Friday, March 24, 2023, from 11:30 AM 12:30 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St. Peabody, MA 01960. A funeral service will take place immediately following at 1:00 PM at Saint Vasilios Greek Orthodox Church, 5 Paleologos St, Peabody, MA 01960. Burial will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Peabody.     Arthur , Anne and Family, Our deepest condolences on the passing of your Mother Priscilla. A very kind person who always would be there to give a helping hand to all man-kind. We will not be able to attend the services tomorrow as my son Frank's Father-in-Law passed away the beginning of the week and the Funeral is also Tomorrow the same time.
