He lived his life devoted to his Roman Catholic faith and his family.

Surviving him is his daughter Audrey of Peabody. In addition, his 102-year-old sister Geraldine Familitti of Wilmington, and his younger Brother and Sister-in-law Owen and Mary of Hampstead NH, and many nieces and nephews. As one of nine children, he was predeceased by his siblings Pauline Harrington, Edward, Walter, Paul, John and Donald.

I have had a heavy heart since hearing of Mr Sullivan's passing this morning. Remembering him takes me back to times when him and Mrs Sullivan would get together with my parents Rita and Ted-the good old days! Also the Sullivan's were close with the other wonderful group of families from St Adelaide's church such as the Carne's, the O'Connell's, the Murray's, the Tripoli's and others. If they weren't at a church social dance they were at one another's house for parties such as Halloween or for another reason which usually ended with everyone gathered around a dining room table sipping coffee and eating pastries. Audrey I am so sorry for your loss your dad was one of the nicest and classiest people I ever knew... Tony Baltas

Maria, I am so sorry to hear about your father. He would always tease me about sitting at the back of the church. I enjoyed the years that we bowled together in Danvers. He will be missed. Sheila McKeering

Uncle Richard was like a grandfather to my kids and he was my sons godfather. Uncle Richard always had fun with all of us from being on the pond to skate and our family softball games when we were all younger. He was very special to all of us. We will miss you and love you.
